Designed especially for beginning ornamental gardeners, this class reveals basic flower gardening lessons gleaned from area master gardeners. In other words, we let you in on what we know now that we wish we had known when we were beginners! Tips from our experienced ornamental gardeners are intended to save you time, expense and labor; prevent you from making easy-to-avoid mistakes; and start you down the path toward making gardening a fun and rewarding pastime filled with beauty. Topics include: • Selecting plants right for the garden conditions nature has given you. • Designing pleasing flower beds. • Getting along with creatures. • Saving time and money. • Learning as you go. There will be time at the end of class for questions and discussion.
